YouTube Monetization Policies are a set of policies that allow you to make money on YouTube. If you are a YouTube Partner Program participant, the agreement, including program policies, requires you to comply with these monetization policies in order to be able to earn potential profits on YouTube.

All creators who meet the minimum requirements can apply to join the YouTube Partner Program provided they adhere to some of our guidelines. You can view and build on the following checklist when submitting your request.

Ensure your channel complies with our policies and guidelines: When you apply to join the program, your channel will be reviewed to see if it complies with our policies and guidelines. Only channels that adhere to these policies and guidelines will be accepted. Minimum 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 valid public watch hours: When we evaluate channels for acceptance into the YouTube Partner Program, we look at their overall performance. When your channel meets this minimum requirement to join the program, this usually means that your channel is showing a large amount of content. This minimum helps us make a fair decision about whether your channel complies with our policies and guidelines. Remember that you can only apply to join the program after you meet the minimum requirements.
Signing of YouTube Partner Program terms: We'll notify you when your channel meets the minimum number of subscribers and public hours of watch if you require it. Once your channel meets the threshold for joining the program, please follow these instructions:
Log in to YouTube.
Click your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen> YouTube Studio.
Click on Monetize in the left menu.
If the minimum requirements are not met, click Notify me when I'm eligible to receive an email when it attracts 1,000 subscribers and earns 4,000 public viewing hours in the past 12 months. If you meet these minimum requirements, click start on the "Review YouTube Partner Program Terms" card.
When you sign the judgments, we will place a green "Done" flag next to this step on the "Check YouTube Terms Program" card.
Ensure that you only have one AdSense account: As part of the application process, you need to link your channel to an AdSense account in order to receive payments.
Click to start on the "Sign up for Google AdSense" card.
If you have an AdSense account, use the approved account. You can link an unlimited number of channels to one AdSense account.
If you don't have an AdSense account, you can create one by following the on-screen instructions.
After linking your channel to an AdSense account, we will place a green "Done" flag next to this step on the "Google AdSense Subscription" card.
Waiting for the application to be reviewed: Your channel will automatically be added to the YouTube Partner Program checklist once the YouTube Partner Program terms are signed and linked to an AdSense account. After that, our programmed systems will review your channel’s content and audit it for the auditors ’team to determine whether it complies with our guidelines. You can view the status of your order at any time at https://studio.youtube.com/channel/UC/monetization.
If your channel is accepted to join the YouTube Partner Program, congratulations! You can now adjust your preferred settings for ads and enable the video monetization feature you upload. Here is a list of frequently asked questions from creators who have recently joined the YouTube Partner Program.
If your application is rejected, this means that reviewers have found that a large portion of your channel’s content does not comply with our policies and guidelines. You can resubmit the application 30 days after the date of rejection. You can read our FAQ for tips on how to improve your order.
Review process
When your channel meets the minimum number of subscribers and watch time required to join the program and after you sign the provisions of the YouTube Partner Program and link your channel to your AdSense account, your application will be listed. The auditors ’team will generally assess your channel’s content to determine whether it complies with YouTube’s monetization policies.

We will notify you of our decision after completing your channel review (this may take about one month after your channel meets the minimum required).

Note: Sometimes the review may take more than a month. This can be due to a number of reasons, including more frequent requests than usual, problems with the system, or sometimes having to transfer resources. Our policy specialists try to review requests as quickly as possible, but delays may occur due to the limited number of specialists.
